Wedding Photographer in Florence – Villa Viviani

The first wedding of the year as a Wedding Photographer in Florence was a concentrate of particular sensations. From the emotion to the start of a new exciting season of weddings, to my faithful anxiety that in spite of everything is always a great stimulus for me.

From Ireland to my Florence for their wedding

Aisling and David are my first couple of the year. They have come a long way to fulfill their dream of love, directly from Ireland have chosen Florence and me for this special day. This time the responsibility of giving an unforgettable shot to every moment is felt after many kilometers deserve just the beautiful shots.

Pensione Pendini is a piece of history

For getting ready, they chose the historic Pensione Pendini in Piazza Della Repubblica.

The Pensione Pendini, in fact, sees its origins in 1879 as a luxury pension, inside rooms, to date, are furnished with polished parquet, antique furniture, beautiful fabrics and floral wallpapers that have been a perfect setting for my shots, the bride’s dress matched every detail.

Getting married to the Church of the Holy Apostles in Florence

The ceremony took place in another historical place in Florence: the Church of the Holy Apostles. The entrance overlooks the small Piazza del Limbo, closely linked to Dante and the Divine Comedy. Inside you can admire columns in green marble of Prato, a wooden ceiling dating back to 1333 and a beautiful mosaic floor.

The simplicity of the interior with rounded arches on the columns that inspired Brunelleschi as a legend for me was the frame to capture the most exciting moments of the ceremony, made even by the wonderful sound of the harp and the violin during the ceremony.

Villa Viani to end this wedding in beauty

For the reception, we then moved to Villa Viviani, three miles from Florence on the hillside, its flowery terrace overlooking the olive groves and vineyards, its Italian garden makes it a luxury home from which to admire from the high all the beauty of Florence. All this gives the villa the nickname of Belvedere for its panoramic position.

To make magic every time the harp and the violin that had accompanied the guests already in the church and continued during the aperitif and finally, the piano accompanied the excellent dinner. The room has been set up in detail with floral arrangements from the wedding designer Chiara Pieraccioni of Iaiaflorevents.
